Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pop’n Times (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Nacula LLC dba Pop'n Times in Walnut Creek, California, collects and uses information when you use our mobile app and website (together, the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from that provider. We do not receive or store your password.
- Swim videos and submissions. Videos you upload, any notes or context you include with them, and metadata such as file size and upload timestamp.
- Critique content. Video responses, written notes, and comments exchanged between you and a coach through the Service.
- Technical data. Basic logs needed to operate the Service, including IP address, device type, app version, and error reports.
How we use information
- To deliver critiques and let you and your coach communicate.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To operate, debug, and improve the Service (for example, fixing crashes and upload failures).
- To send you transactional messages about your submissions or account (we do not send marketing email).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run Pop’n Times:
- Authentication: Google and Apple, for sign-in.
- Hosting and storage: Cloud providers that store our database and your uploaded videos.
- Your coach. Videos and notes you submit are visible to the coach reviewing them.
- Legal: When required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and submissions for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual submissions from the app, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time (see Your rights below).
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our hosting providers using their standard at-rest encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Swim instruction often involves minors. Accounts on Pop’n Times must be created and operated by an adult (18+). A parent or guardian may submit videos of their child for critique, and is responsible for the child’s use of the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can:
- Access the information in your account through the app.
- Delete individual submissions at any time.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing genevieve@swimwithgenevieve.com.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we have collected and the right to request its deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
